Update on my life

I haven’t blogged in what seems like ages. Currently I’m up in the North Country trying to earn some more money for college. At the same time I’m trying to find avenues to serve in the local body of Christ while I’m up here.  Currently life has been challenging since I’ve been in the current process of switching  jobs and stuff. But yeah life has been awesome and Jesus is still the Lord of my life… and he always will be.

My life in the last week

So my life currently has been filled with encouragement, motivation, but also a strong realization that I need to depend on Jesus every step of the way. Since I’ve been down here in NC I’ve found myself digging up the gift of intercession that has been idel for quite sometime. I’ve also been really cryish lately… I’ll be listening to a Violet Burning song, and for some reason I’ll just start weeping – I’ll be in class and something said will touch my heart to the point where I almost begin to fight tears. God’s also been giving me some new songs, on a more mellower worshipful note for a change. Then there’s this awesome guy named David Choi/ I could explain how radical this guy is for the Lord… Then of course there’s this guy named Wayne Tate, and this guy named Steve Crowther, and this guy… and that guy… Dude Manna Church is the place…

Now we are rreallyyy talkin about involvement

The first week of classes was not that bad as far as homework was concerned. This week it’s a little different. I find myself involved in group projects, eventual piano lessons, Rush outreaches, research papers, in process papers ya the whole thing… despite the busy road ahead of me, I am enjoying the classes I’m taking- they definately are not dull. I’m meeting some really caring people down here too, which has been awesome. I also have joined a cell group called The Violent Men. It’s a prayer group… incase you are wondering…

Anyhow, it’s time for me to have a late night peanut butter sandwich. God bless yowl!

What I did this Afternoon

So today I attened a Rush club at one of Fayetteville’s highschools. What is Rush? Rush is basically a organization which was started in Manna Church to reach out to the local highschools/colleges… this organization has spread to several different cities amongst the eastern states… and also to other countries. Their main mission is to see schools get reached with the love of Jesus in a practical way. It’s been great getting to know David Choi who is one of the key people who heads this ministry- great brother- he’s even willing to give me a ride to the laundry mat tomorrow!

Oh and finally all my books came in!
